WICHE's Professional Student Exchange Program (PSEP) enables students in 12 western states to enroll in selected out-of-state professional programs usually because those fields of study are not available at public institutions in their home states. The State of Utah offers exchange programs in veterinary medicine, podiatry, and optometry.
PSEP Students receive preference in admission. They pay reduced levels of tuition through support from the State of Utah to help cover the cost of students' education. State support and program participation affecting students are subject to change by legislative or administrative action.

Application requirements for this funding assistance are:
- Application (1 copy)
- Consent Form (3 copies)
- Statement of Understanding (2 copies)*
- Statement of Intent (2 copies)*
- Copy of Graduate Record Exam (GRE) Scores*

Please refer to the WICHE website for a list of participating
institutions. Application to institutions which are not WICHE participants will have no bearing on your eligibility for certification.
All applications for Fall 2010 must be submitted and received at the USHE Offices by October 15, 2009. Please review the packet material to make sure all required forms are included with your final application.
